"I've had State Farm for 10 going on 11 years and I absolutely love them! I've had nothing but positive experiences and interactions with them, from James Harris to Tobias Kelly! I recently had to file a claim because a deer hit me and totaled my car and they made the whole process smooth and easy, it didn't take long at all and now with covering my new vehicle, Amber got it put in and Destiny got me a great rate and communicated everything with me."

"Personnel at Tobias Kelley are responsive, however, be careful with State Farm. State Farm non-renewed our homeowners policy after a claim was made due to a burst water valve and water damage. After repairs were complete, State Farm non-renewed my home owners policy. While the rates were good initially, they continued to gradually increase rates. Be very thoughtful before selecting State Farm as your insurance provider."

Regarding your experience with State Farm corporate underwriting, we understand how frustrating a non-renewal can be. Please know that our corporate underwriting department is responsible for carefully reviewing and assessing risk to determine whether coverage will be continued or discontinued. This process includes evaluating various risk factors, such as the number of claims filed within a short period of time and the amount of those claims. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for ANY insurance company, including State Farm, to non-renew coverage when two or more claims are filed within a short timeframe, within the first year of coverage, and/or following a large claim payout. As we communicated in previous voicemails and emails regarding your non-renewal, our office does not make the determination to non-renew and would have loved to keep your home covered. It seems like your comments/complaints are geared more towards State Farm Corporate. If you would like to submit a comment or complaint with them, just give the office a call at your convenience and we can provide you with contact information to do so. Again, we understand your frustration, and hope that this explanation helps clarify the reasons behind such decisions. We really do value you and your family as policyholders and appreciate your business. "
